During our trip to Tagaytay, we stopped by Nurture Wellness Village in Barangay Maitim. Nurture Wellness Village is one of the city’s most visited spots. Named as one of the Most Relaxing Spas in Asia by CNN Go, it is known for its distinctive brand of ‘ecotherapy’ or the art of healing through and by nature.
Nurture Wellness Village
Aside from offering spa and wellness services, Nurture Wellness Village is also a hotel, a retreat, and a luxury vacation destination. But that’s not all! In fact, the village also houses its very own mini zoo, farm, and villas. It even has recreation spots, restaurants, and a whole lot more. Take a look!
The Village has all sorts of accommodations – from detached two-story houses to cabins deep in the woods.

This unique room is inspired by the houses in the Mountain Province. What makes this unit unique is that it has a resting bed that offers an awesome view of the woods below.

That’s me resting in one of the houses within the property.

Open Spaces
The village also has plenty of open spaces which are perfect for outdoor activities.

It also has camping areas where guests can pitch a tent and sleep right at the edge of the woods.

There are fire pits close to the camping grounds where guests can gather during the evening for drinks, barbecues, and stories.

The Village has gorgeous spa and massage spots, too! They are perfect for tired and swollen ‘city people’ like me.

Fresh and Organic
The Village has an organic farm with both plants and animals.

And this field of greens is ready to harvest! How nice!

The village even has a weaving hut where amazing pieces are created.

Botika ni Nanay
The Botika ni Nanay is a special spot within the property. It is a massive garden of herbs and shrubs with known and proven medicinal properties.

Here’s Nanay explaining to visitors the benefits of each plant in the garden.

Before leaving for the next spot, a quick shot with my team. Go, Team Cebu! 🙂
