by Today, we finally got to visit the very popular Gangnam District. Gangnam is one of the districts in Seoul, South Korea. It is widely popular due to its high concentration of wealth and a high standard of living. In recent years, Gangnam earned world-wide attention because of the song ‘Gangnam Style’ by South Korean superstar PSY from YG Entertainment. The song Gangnam Style became the first video on popular video website Youtube to reach 1 billion views.
Here are just some of the many photos that I took during a supposed late afternoon stroll around this famous landmark. Note: We ended up staying until after dinner.
Gangnam District
The beautiful Gangnam District in Seoul, South Korea is a dream address for many Koreans. I mean, I would also want to live here if I was from this country. It’s that gorgeous.
The lovely 123-story Lotte World Tower in Gangnam is currently the tallest building in South Korea. The building is also the 5th tallest building in the whole world.
Here is another look at South Korea’s tallest skyscraper. It looks pretty from all angles, I must say.
The posh entrance to the Lotte World Tower is flooded with bright lights at night.
Popular brand Airbnb had a fair at the grounds surrounding the tower when we got there. So, we decided to drop by and see what the fuzz was about. We ended up getting a lot of free Airbnb goodies!
Gangnam at Night
Even from afar, you can see just how lovely the Lotte World Tower looks especially after dark.

After the quick tour, we visited a nearby street which was famous for its late-night diners. We had a sumptuous meal!
