Many years ago, a few of my friends and I were able to visit the gorgeous Amorita Resort in Panglao, Bohol. It was a quick one-day getaway but it was a truly exciting and memorable one. This trip was one for the books because of two things. First, we finally understood why everyone has been raving about Amorita. And second, it was one of the few moments that I got to spend some nice quality time with these good buddies before we all went our separate ways to do our own things. Here are some of the shots that I snapped during that visit.
Amorita Resort
Amorita Resort is a four-star beach resort in Alona Beach in Panglao Island, Bohol. Although the resort doesn’t have a beach line, it sits at the very edge of Alona Beach. The resort is also situated several feet above the water. So, guests get an awesome view of Panglao Island’s white sand beach below.
As soon as we entered the resort, the very first thing that greeted us was this gorgeous infinity pool behind the reception area.
Since we arrived just in time for lunch, we then moved straight to the restaurant to grab something to eat.
Along the way, we noticed how spacious and breezy the entire resort was. Definitely, the resort is big huge open spaces to move, relax, and enjoy.
Lunch with a View
First order of business: Lunch. Here is what the main restaurant looks like. Looks gorgeous, right?
We climbed up to the second floor to check out Tomar Tapas x Bar, one of the resort’s four in-house restaurants.
The food was heavenly. But the view was something else.
After lunch, we immediately headed out to investigate. And we were just floored by what we saw.
The main pool was massive and wonderfully-situated.
Gorgeous Rooms
After roaming around for a few more minutes, we were finally informed that our rooms were ready.
The rooms were fantastic. But I have to mentioned that the staff were just exceptionally polite, friendly, and attentive.
A quick photo in one of the nice areas near our rooms.
After a quick freshening-up, we then decided to explore the other parts of the resort. And that was when we saw Alona Beach.
Of course, we didn’t waste any more time. Next, we hit the pools!
We also spent a couple of hours at the other pool near the reception area. It was lovely!
We were lucky to be able to gain access to one of the villas at the resort. And this was what we saw. It was just gorgeous.
We spent the rest of the way enjoy the hotel’s many amenities and, of course, each other’s company.
I hope I can return to Amorita one day. And I hope that I can still do it with all of my friends with me.
