During my recent trip to the downtown area of Davao City, I got a chance to climb up the top floors of the Marco Polo Hotel. To be honest, I’m not sure if the area is open to all hotel guests. However, I have a feeling that only selected guests are allowed to come in.
Anyway, since Marco Polo Hotel sits right at the heart of the downtown area, you can enjoy an amazing view of the city and its surrounding localities. If you want a nice bird’s eye perspective of downtown Davao City, the Marco Polo Hotel is the spot for you.
Here are some of my photos. Enjoy!
The climb to the top floors of the hotel was totally unexpected. So, I was glad that I was able to bring my camera with me. In this shot, you can see a view of the slightly busy mid-day traffic in the area. This shot reminds me of downtown Cebu for some reason.
In this shot, you can see Ateneo de Davao – one of the biggest and most popular universities in the city.
In this shot, you can see Aldevinco. It is Davao City’s most popular one-stop-shop for souvenirs and gift items.
