LEY - Hotel Luna

In Photos: Inside Hotel Luna in Vigan City

During our Great Ilocos adventure, one particular experience that stood out for me was our stay at the iconic Hotel Luna in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. I’ve been to Vigan twice before, but for some reason, I never had the chance to step inside this much-talked-about hotel. This third visit, however, gave me that opportunity. And, obviously, I didn’t miss that chance! 🙂

Located right in the heart of the historic city, Hotel Luna isn’t just another hotel in the area. From the moment I entered its grand wooden doors, I was instantly captivated by its blend of timeless elegance and artistic charm. The lobby alone already felt like a gallery. There was beautiful antique furniture, intricate tilework, and original Filipino artworks everywhere you looked. It was like stepping into a living museum.

The wooden steps were gorgeous. You could just imagine the old residents going up and down these steps in their traditional wear.

If you’re into art and details, this hotel will blow you away!

You can find amazing stuff virtually anywhere you go and wherever you turn. It’s amazing!

But what really sold me was the wonderful mix of old materials and glass. It was just so lovely!

Our room was pretty impressive. Spacious, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped, it combined old-world luxury with modern comforts. The bed was plush, the lighting was warm and inviting, and every detail reflected the hotel’s commitment to quality and design.

But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the ambiance. There’s something about Hotel Luna that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time, but with all the modern-day conveniences right at your fingertips.

Whether I was lounging by the courtyard pool, admiring paintings by local masters, or walking through its art-filled hallways, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe.

I honestly couldn’t believe it took me three visits to Vigan to finally discover the magic of Hotel Luna. It’s more than just a place to sleep, to be honest. It felt like a complete experience!

If you’re planning a trip to Vigan, make sure to include this gem in your itinerary. Trust me, it will make entire Ilocos experience even more memorable!
